About Orders
Can I make changes to my order?
In principle, we do not accept changes to order details (products, quantities, shipping addresses, etc.) after the order has been confirmed.
If you have placed an order by mistake, please contact us as soon as possible through our contact form.
Can I cancel my order?
We may be able to accept cancellations if the product has not yet been shipped.
We cannot accept cancellations after shipping procedures have been completed.
About Products
Are all products authentic?
We guarantee that the antique folding screens used as materials are not modern reproductions.
Are the era and artist names of the products guaranteed?
The artist names are unknown. Estimated period designations are based on the judgment and experience of the antique folding screen dealers. Please use these as a general guide.
About Shipping
Delivery Estimate
International delivery typically takes 7–14 business days via premium courier (FedEx/DHL). Please note that delivery times may vary depending on the destination country’s customs clearance procedures and local logistics.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping within Japan is free, but shipping outside of Japan requires a flat rate of ¥30,000 (tax included).
Which shipping company do you use?
Domestic orders within Japan are carefully packaged and shipped via Yamato Transport. All international orders are handled exclusively by Tespack Co., Ltd. For international shipments, we fully entrust delivery to Tespac Co., Ltd., who will also handle any transportation issues within the scope of their coverage.

Processing Time
Orders will be dispatched within 14 business days of cleared payment. Due to the delicate and unique nature of our antique folding screens, we take extra time to ensure secure, museum-quality packaging and accurate export documentation.
After the product arrives
The product I received has damage. What should I do?
Jidai Byobu are products made using historical antique materials. Therefore, minor scratches or signs of wear may be present. Except in cases of clear accidents—such as damage caused by impact during transportation—these conditions are not covered by the warranty.
Can you repair products?
Repairs will be accepted only if they are entrusted entirely to us. In such cases, the customer is responsible for both the shipping costs and the repair fees.
Returns & Exchanges
Can I return or exchange products?
As each item is one-of-a-kind, we do not accept returns in principle. We only accept returns in the event of damage during delivery.

We accept credit cards, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal, and other payment methods.
